What is ISO Certification?
ISO Certification is a seal of approval that an orgainzation conforms to the standards of working and management set by the International Standard of Organization (ISO). ISO Certification is conducted by a third party empowered to issue such certificates. ISO certification is a mark of quality.
Basic Documents Required for NON IAF ISO 9001:2015
Below are the core documents required for ISO 9001 certification in India.
1. Address Proof of the business:
Any of the following document:
- Electricity bill
- Rent agreement
- Property tax receipt
This is used to verify the business location.
2. Business Scope / Activity Details
A short description of:
- What your business does
- Services you offer
Example:
“Beauty parlour providing hair, skin, and makeup services”
“Training institute offering beautician and cosmetology courses”
This helps define the scope of ISO certification.
3. ID Proof of Business Owner
Any government-issued ID:
- Aadhaar Card
- PAN Card
- Voter ID / Passport
This is required for authentication and records.
And that's it. Most organization thinks that they need a ton of documentation for ISO Certification but it's not the case. ISO Certification can be acquired with minimal documents.
